Nickel Nuts - With a Twist

Glenda Palmer has taken over for Claudia Ingram with the Nickel Nut exchange program. A new and slightly different twist has been added to the Nuts and if you have any questions, please contact Glenda Palmer.

We will be trading theme fabrics each month rather than a particular fabric manufacturer. However, only quilt shop quality fabrics (no Jo-Ann's) will be accepted for trade. Each participant will need to purchase 1 yard of fabric and cut it into 6 inch squares (no salvages). You will always receive the same amount of 6 inch squares that you bring but when you go home you will have a wide variety to use in future nickel quilts.

Our first meal will be dinner, but there are many places to eat nearby for lunch on your first day. I have also called all the quilt shops in the area and will pass out a sheet with any specials or discounts they may be offering as well as directions to each shop. Remember to bring your guild membership card, as many shops require this to get your discount. Please see Sandi at the meeting for more information.
