(April 14, 2008) Ms. Dea Crandell announced that the design will be the offset pineapple blocks in blue and creams taken from Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine, may 2007 issue. Paper foundation patterns and a piece of red matterial for the corner will be provided. Quilters will take the blue and cream fabrics (no plain muslin) from their own stashes. Dea also designed an applique motif for the borders, using some of the same red fabric fabric. Members who like to applique will be needed for this aspect of the project. The quilt will be available for our “opportunity” in May. More information to come.
